This product is an HO scale model of the square oil tank, 3D printed in black resin, that was retro-fitted to some coal-burning examples of Victorian Railways A2 Class 4-6-0 steam locomotive to convert them to burn oil. The oil tank model was specifically developed to fit the coal tender of the HO scale A2 locomotive manufactured by Ixion Model Railways. It is prototypically correct for Ixion’s models of A2 944, A2 955 and A2 996. After a straightforward modification to the front of the tender, the oil tank simply drops into the coal space.

These items are 3D printed in the Newcastle/Hunter Valley region of NSW Australia.

Overseas shipping is by Australia Post International Parcel Post satchel. All orders are dispatched in protective packaging.
